Roots of the Roots

Whether it's positive or negative, the answer is positive.

MCR is actually an acronym for Motor City Roots. Being born and raised in the Metro Detroit area I’ve been exposed to the city’s beauty since my first memories. Not only is it located in a state known for its natural beauty (hello, Great Lakes!), it’s also home to countless stunning manmade spots, many of which were financed and built during the city’s manufacturing boom. I often find myself wondering how exhilarating Detroit must have been back in 1960’s when Motown Records branded Detroit the Birthplace of the Motown Sound. The legendary Motown became another Detroit Factory; where The Big Three produced automobiles, Motown assembled the soul and pop classics we still love today. If that’s not impressive enough may I remind you of a little Island named Belle? The Detroit Opera House, The DIA… It’s a community full of beauty and history, not to mention enough All-American College rivalry to make any game day exciting.
I eagerly started building my business portfolio early in life.  Successively I’ve accumulated a diverse collection of experience, education and skills in all my ventures throughout Metro Detroit. Eventually I fell into the same assumed normal as most and settled into a comfy corporate position.  After years of a midsize office, two windows and a fancy, personalized mouse pad; I traded in my title of Human Resource Manager & VP of finance and started a business. Now I use my experience of accounting, licensing, taxes, construction, finance, HR etc. to help strengthen other local businesses.
